The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone wear a face mask or covering in order to mitigate the spread of Covid-19. In LA and New York, wearing one while out in public is now mandatory.
Now that you have your own set of face masks, you're doing your part to normalize wearing them and prevent the spread of the disease among those who are asymptomatic. So how often should you clean it?
Wash your mask routinely, depending on use. If you do come into contact with someone who is symptomatic of Covid-19, wash your mask immediately, and be sure to disinfect anything that it, or you, come into contact with.
